According to the seemingly pleasant yet emotionally vapid presenters on GMTV (GMA equivalent, US readers) tell me, It’s Monday again.  And as I ease myself into Monday morning with a premium lager and start typing, it always feels like it’s been about a month since I made the last Friday post.  Probably because nobody visits the fucking site on a weekend.  I’ve never been able to understand, over all the sites I’ve worked on, why nobody goes on the internet on the weekend, yet the site’s the internet equivalent of Mecca during the week (on perhaps a bad week for Mecca).  Why am I the only one holding the fort on the weekend, internet-wise?  That’s a whole lot of responsibility.  Phew.  But I can dig it.  That’s why Snoop Dogg once came up to me and said that I put the “G” in “Gook”.  I replied that I wasn’t Vietnamese and perhaps he meant “geek”, but he’d already begun to walk away, so I let it go.
