Turns out Victoria Beckham owns alot of designer handbags.  I’ll give you a minute to let that news sink in.  But according to The Big Money, Posh’s collection of Hermes (I don’t know how to put a grave accent in on this keyboard) Birkin bags alone is worth £1.5m ($2.3m).  Find out more after the jump.

It’s reported that Victoria owns 100 of the Birkin style; the most basic bag costing a minimum of £4,200.  But Poshbags opts for, among others, the plusher pink ostrich skin and glossy black crocodile edition, worth £42,000 each ($ 65,000), and the Silver Himalayan at £80,000 ($124,000).  I know this all sounds mighty expensive, but I’m sure there are a whole mess of girly divas (Mariah Carey, Beyonce and Elton off the top of the head) who exceed that figure in bags and shoes.  I’ve always been in two minds as to whether I like Posh Spice.  I guess since the rap in Wannabe told us that she “doesn’t come for free/she’s a real lady” I’ll be giving her the benefit of the doubt.
