I’m quite keen on this. Sure, it’s a little bit gimmicky, but it’s cute. It’s four mini bottles of Moët & Chandon Nectar Imperial, four mini flutes, and a sexy container that doubles as an ice bucket. Veuve Clicquot have done quite a few different spins on the standard champagne purchase, and I must say they often leave a bit to be desired. But this is pretty stonking value – “Buckets of Bubbles” retails for approximately $34.99 but offers the equivalent amount of champagne as a 750 ml bottle of Nectar Imperial, which retails for $49.99. Whilst it’s a clear indication that LVMH are worried about sales of luxury goods, it’s definitely a step in the right direction. If and when this comes to the UK, I’m definitely going to pick one up. Nothing mean or snarky to say to be honest. It’s still me by the way. I haven’t been replaced by someone substantially chirpier.
