So, hot on the heels of the new Chanel No.5 ad, Dior is launching some 6 1/2 minute cinematic, err, thing. There seems to be a trend of these things, with directors and leading ladies from major films having their credibility bought with a great big golden cheque. As a side note, my credibility is currently on special offer. Just let me know. The short film is called “The Lady Noire Affair” and it launches on May 20th.

So Dior have brought on board Marion Cotillard and director Olivier Dahan of La vie en rose fame. Hmmmmm. A cinematic campaign for a french designer featuring a leading actress and director from a very recent popular french film. I’m sure exactly that has been done quite recently. Perhaps Dior should bring out a new scent called ripoff or bandwagon. Apparently you can follow Lady Dior on Twitter here. Dior on twitter? Oh come on.
