Due to the current economic climate, just as with regular property, private islands are falling victim to foreclosure.  Fancy snapping up some super-private real estate off the Great Barrier Reef? Find out more after the jump.

Global real estate agency Coldwell Banker’s Capricorn Coast branch has nine islands on offer starting at just under $1m. That includes a luxury mansion.  The most expensive is $67m.  Some of these bad boys sport five-star complexes, docks, and space for an airport you need only ask yourself “do I want a Bugatti Veyron?” or would I rather fuck off permanently and blow it on my very own Fantasy Island.  But you can’t have it all.  I first want to avoid that DUI and read people’s minds, so frankly Fantasy Island is going to have to come later.
